Professional conduct in the classroom

Professional conduct in the classroom forms habits that linger with us in the professional world. Some prime examples of prfessional conduct would be punctuality, attention, preparation, no texting, and professional dress. When somone arrives late without notifying the instructor it looks very careless and disrespectful because it interrupts the class. Being on time is always a must. One must pay attention in the classroom. This is shown through participation, not talking while the professor is talking, and listening. Preparation means being prepared for the class by doing the assignments and reading the the instructor asks you to do. Texting in flat out rude and shoudn't be done during class. Dressing appropriately just means being clean and dressing in a presentable manner, offensive t- shirts should never be worn.
